hello everyone :) hope you all have had a great week!
this week has been good. lots of learning experiences and things to improve on,
but really that is what life is all about. We are here to learn and become like our Savior.

This week me and Sister Mo have made our companionship into a trio, and our third comp is our Savior.
We have made Him a better part of our missionary work and put Him first.
We have been relying on Him more to help us throughout the day.
We have noticed when we are putting Him first we have seen so many more miracles.
One day when we were looking for this care home we decided stop and pray for help to find it.
We kept walking a little more and decided to knock on this door to ask for help.
And this lady from Ghana(!!!!) told us where it was and she had met with sisters before
so she wanted us to come back! It was a miracle and just shows that when we put Him first,
everything will turn out how it is supposed to.

I got to go up to Newcastle and Billingham this week for some meetings and I got to see Elder Norton!
It was great to see him and talk for a little bit :)

We had the baptism of Danielle and Laura with the other sisters and it was the most spiritual baptism
I've ever experienced. They both read the Book of Mormon in 2 weeks and they have had
the most amazing experiences. The gospel is for everyone and it truly does change lives.
The theme of the baptism was 1 John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of Him,
and declare unto you, that God is LIGHT, and in Him is no darkness at all."
The gospel truly does bring light into our lives and people notice the light we have from the spirit.

I am so grateful for my companion who makes me laugh so much.
We have a great relationship and I am learning so many great things from her.
She really is showing me how to put the Lord first.

Well, I love you all! Have a great week and don't forget to smile :)
Love, Sister Stevens
(Lisel sent me a copy of her email to her mission president this week.
My heart breaks for how hard this has been for her, yet bursts with gratitude for the
way she is pushing through.)
